SugarSmart September

BASCD are a member of Sustain’s Sugar Smart working group, which is operating an awearness raising campaign during September.

Please find details of the campaign below including how you can show your support and get involved.

If you want to register to be sent a monthly update on Sustain’s activities related to Sugar Smart you can have this sent to your inbox.

You can do this as an individual (newsletter only) or register as an organisation or workplace if youโ€™d like to engage your staff in healthier eating and improve your organisationโ€™s food environment(s).

Take part in SUGAR SMART September

Join the national effort to go SUGAR SMART this September. Sustainโ€™s SUGAR SMART Campaign is offering free resources and sugar reduction challenge ideas for individuals, families, organisations, schools and workplaces to reduce their sugar consumption for 30 days and discover new healthy eating habits. There are a number of challenges to choose, from easy to challenging, like resisting sugary office treats, swapping the pop, or avoiding added sugar altogether. There is a suite of resources to help you in your journey, including a SUGAR SMART September diary to track your progress and other tools to make the most of this opportunity to set healthier food habits.
