Valerie White, consultant in dental public health and a valued member of BASCD has been appointed as Director of Public Health at NHS Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland.
It is great to see BASCD members being appointed to senior roles in general public health. It underpins the multi-disciplinary approach to tackling the wider determinants of health – one of BASCD’s core goals.
